It’s time to lace up your virtual gloves

Undisputed, the boxing video game formerly known as E-Sports Boxing Club, is now available through Steam Early Access. Developed by Steel City Interactive, the game has been in development for several years and promises to deliver an authentic boxing experience that fans of the sport have been waiting for.

We covered the game some time ago with early details and now that the game is available in early access and has a name change, it was high time to update our information on it. Currently the early access version of the game is limited to online and offline bouts with a handful of boxers and venues.

In the coming months, the team at Steel City Interactive will continue to update the game and add new features. To get a better idea of what updates can be expected in the coming year, here is a roadmap the developers have put together.

The final version of Undisputed will feature an in-depth career mode that allows players to customize their boxer’s appearance, stats, and fighting style, starting as an amateur and working their way up to the top. The game also features a training mode for players to improve their fighter’s skills, along with various multiplayer modes, including online and local play, and a tournament mode where players can compete in a knockout-style tournament.

One of the game’s notable features is its realistic physics and animations. The boxers move realistically in the ring, and punches have weight and impact. The game also includes a damage system that accurately represents the injuries that boxers can sustain during a fight.

The roster of boxers in Undisputed includes legends of the sport like Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson, as well as current stars like Manny Pacquiao, Anthony Joshua, and Canelo Alvarez. Each boxer has their own unique fighting style and attributes, making for a diverse and challenging gameplay experience.

Undisputed has received positive feedback from players who have tried the game during its early access period, with many praising the game’s graphics, sound, and gameplay, noting that it feels like a real boxing match. The developers have been active in listening to player feedback and making adjustments to the game accordingly.

Those interested in keeping up with the latest news and updates on Undisputed can follow the game’s official Twitter account at https://twitter.com/PlayUndisputed. Steel City Interactive also maintains a blog on their website at https://playundisputed.com/, providing regular updates on the game’s development and featuring behind-the-scenes looks at the making of the game.

Undisputed is currently available through Steam Early Access, and players who purchase it during this period will have access to the game right now and get updated as the game improves. The current price for early access is $29.99 and if you purchase that now, you will get the full game release when it happens, at no additional cost. Here is a summary of what the current early access game provides.

“The Early Access build of Undisputed features a core boxing gameplay experience we feel is fun and engaging and ready for player feedback. This includes both online and offline modes, a roster of over 50 boxers, and 6 venues to choose from. You will find a full list of features implemented for Early Access in the About This Game section below.
Since Undisputed is still in development, we expect to be fixing bugs and polishing the experience throughout Early Access, while providing a game that is stable and enjoyable to play.”

The game is also set to launch on current-generation consoles, including the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Undisputed is shaping up to be a must-play game for boxing fans, with its attention to detail, in-depth career mode, and diverse roster of boxers. Its realistic physics and animations and damage system add to the immersive experience, and the game’s early access period and active engagement with player feedback bodes well for its final release. The is the first time boxing fans have had access to a high caliber simulation of the sport and I really hope that this game pulls through to be one of the best boxing games of all time.

Jump into early access if you want to be apart of the game now, otherwise stay tuned to information on the game as it gets nearer to it’s final release.
