It should be no real surprise to anyone who has been paying attention to the game but Wasteland 3 looks like it will be at E3 2019 in some form, most likely during the Microsoft Press Conference.
Lead designer and InXile Entertainment studio boss Brian Fargo confirmed this earlier today in a response to one of our tweets.
Wasteland 3 looks to be a step up in quality over Wasteland 2 thanks to higher production values and better resources. Wasteland 2 was funded through Kick starter back in 2012 and was made with a modest budget.
The game has been well received and stands at a meta critic score of 87 for the directors cut version which released on consoles and PC in 2015.
I am certainly a fan of Wasteland 2 so I’m chomping at the bit to see where they go with 3. Two years ago they released a video detailing some early game footage and it looked great. That was before they had the backing of Microsoft who acquired InXile Entertainment late last year.
We only have one more week to wait before we see what the studio is up to and get a better look at the game.
